Fabric Scrap Brooch Pin - Blue Chicken

A statement brooch featuring a scrap of quilting fabric in a silver colored frame with a pin back. Pendant is 30mm x 24mm I’ve recently discovered quilting and have fallen in love with fabrics! The patterns remind me of plate pattern in a lot of ways, even the ugliest patterns can be super cute when broken down in smaller bits. I’m working on a hexagon quilt and couldn’t bare to throw away the scraps, so I did what came naturally and made jewelry. I figure this can be a way to fund this new found addiction. I’m drawn to Japanese patterns and vintage fabrics.
